Okay, so I just watched this movie last night. The girl was born dead and some weird lady came in and said that she would live but after 18 years, her soul would belong to the devil. Molly was never told of this til the day before her 18th birthday.
Her mom was locked up in an insane assylum for trying to kill her by stabbing her in the chest with a pair of scissors. She ended up escaping and going back to try to kill her because she was convinced that it was the only way to save Molly's soul.
Molly is mildly schitzophrenic and has occasional hallucinations. She thought at first that whatever mental disease her mom had was genetic and that she was going insane too. When her mom told her about the devil owning her soul, she attempted to commit suicide several times, but it wouldn't work. She had tried getting baptised before that so she could be protected by God, but the little goody bitch from her class that was baptising her tried to drown her in the baptism water-pool-thingy.
All in all, the movie is alright. It wasn't as "scary" as I'd expected it to be, but it's got a couple parts that aren't scary but still make you jump.
The only thing I didn't like about it was the ending because it was completely random and didn't make since. But y'all should watch it anyways. Maybe someone would be able to explain the ending to me a little better...
